South Korea unveiled ‘Relax Week 2026’, a nationwide wellness initiative offering a comprehensive experience of mindfulness and healing spaces. The event will last till end April.

The programme centers on the “108 Relax Spots”, a curated selection of wellness destinations spanning meditation and yoga centers, counselling services, hanok and wellness accommodations, cafés and restaurants, experiential wellness programmes, cultural spaces, and nature-based healing parks.

Organized by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism and hosted by Bulgyosinmun, Relax Week is designed to alleviate stress and anxiety in modern life, while promoting a sustainable culture of everyday mindfulness.

“Relax Week is designed not just to provide information, but to create meaningful experiences where individuals can discover rest in their own way. We hope it will establish itself as a lifestyle-oriented wellness festival that enables everyone to choose and practice rest at their own rhythm,” according to an official from the organizing committee.

Throughout the campaign, participating spots will offer a wide range of promotions, including free passes, discounts, and special benefits, enabling participants to discover wellness experiences that align with their personal lifestyles.

One of the key features is the “Relax Course”, composed of 15 themed journeys. With themes such as “When You Feel the Urge to Get Away” and “When You Need Time Alone,” participants can intuitively select curated healing experiences based on their emotional state, location, or personal needs.
