Novotel launches global Longevity Week across more than 630 hotels

By Our Staff Writer

The Accor-owned hotel brand Novotel will launch its first global Longevity Week in September, introducing a programme of wellness activities, expert-led sessions and in-hotel experiences across more than 630 properties worldwide.

The hospitality major will hold the initiative from September 7 to 13, 2026, focusing on four areas of everyday wellbeing: eating, sleeping, movement and social connection.

The programme will be led by the newly created Novotel 37 Collective, bringing together experts and athletes from fields including nutrition, sleep, sport and marine conservation, the hospitality major said in a media announcement.

The programme is designed around relatively small lifestyle changes rather than intensive wellness regimes, with activities available both to hotel guests and online audiences.

Longevity Week is expected to become an annual event for the brand.

“Longevity Week is about making wellbeing feel approachable again,” said Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President of Novotel. “Small actions – sleeping better, moving a little more, eating more consciously or genuinely connecting with people – can have a powerful impact over time,” Minet added.

The launch follows a Novotel-commissioned study involving 13,000 respondents across 12 countries, which examined attitudes towards health, wellness and longevity.

According to the research, 71 percent of respondents said they are more interested in their future wellbeing than they were five years ago. The survey also showed 64 percent of respondents identifying a balanced diet as an important factor for longevity, followed by good-quality sleep (62 percent).
