The International Wellness Expo and the Health Summit Asia 2026, currently underway in Kuala Lumpur, is aimed at uniting the Asian health-tourism sector around sustainable travel trends and holistic wellness.

The two-day summit ending on May 22 brings together decision-makers, industry leaders, innovators, and practitioners through keynotes, panels, and thought-leadership sessions, addressing integrated healthcare and wellness, digital health, medical innovation, ageing populations, sustainability, and preventive care.

Health Summit Asia 2026, a collaborative event between SEACare, Malaysia’s premier B2B healthcare platform, and International Wellness Expo (IWE), the nation’s leading event for wellness, health, and preventive care, is touted as a major industry event reflecting Asia’s shift toward wellness-oriented public health.

It is also a move towards aligning with Malaysia’s emphasis on preventive and primary care under Budget 2025.

According to the event organizers, by bridging healthcare and wellness, HSA 2026 strengthens IWE’s mission to advance holistic wellbeing, foster cross-industry collaboration, and help shape the future of health in Asia.

They said the summit also stands as the region’s most comprehensive platform showcasing the transformation of healthcare systems, driven by innovation, integrated care models, and the rise of consumer-led wellness.
