Leading international hospitality brand IHG announced introduction of Regent Spa & Wellness. The initiative, part of the group’s efforts to reimagine its Regent brand, envisages a new global concept guided by the clear intention to elevate guests above the noise.
To be exhibited at select Regent hotels and resorts, this new global concept grounded in sensorial wellbeing lays a powerful pathway to new personal heights, it said.

Regent Bali Canggu – Spa Arrival
Regent Bali Canggu embodies the first example, with future openings in Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur and Kyoto to follow within the next five years. Each expression demonstrates a unique interpretation of the Regent Spa & Wellness concept, designed by IHG’s dedicated team of wellness experts, Raison d’Etre.
IHG said through Regent Spa & Wellness, it is introducing extraordinary new ways for its guests to optimise and excel in how they feel. “Regent Spa & Wellness applies the expertise of Raison d’Etre to bring a remarkable new concept to our upper luxury guests. I am excited by the power it has to deepen the outlook we share – that life is at its best when we rise above the noise – both in Bali and beyond,” said Tom Rowntree, Vice President of Global Luxury Brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Following Bali, further examples of Regent Spa & Wellness will be demonstrated at Regent Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, the first Regent hotel in the Middle East, which will open later this year. Its Regent Spa will occupy 1,500 square meters, complete with dedicated areas for ladies and gentlemen, indoor and outdoor pools and a 200-square-meter fitness club.
Regent Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia will follow in 2027, with its Regent Spa suspended in the sky on the 31st floor, truly elevating guests above the noise. Thereafter, Regent Kyoto in Japan will open in 2028, set within a historic garden meticulously landscaped over a century ago by the esteemed Kumakichi Kato.
