Even as travellers from the Middle East and nearby regions are currently busy planning long weekend getaways for the approaching Eid Al-Adha break, leading hospitality major Waldorf Astoria announced a tempting offer for vacationers at its Seychelles Platte Island resort.
From Arabic-inspired dining beneath glowing lanterns to restorative spa rituals, creative craft sessions for younger guests and culinary masterclasses rooted in regional heritage, there is something for everyone to experience this Eid Al-Adha, the hospitality major said in a media release.

Seychelles offers an idyllic setting for a long weekend getaway, where warm ocean, slower days and a sense of space create the perfect backdrop for time spent together.
“Waldorf Astoria invites guests to immerse themselves in a series of experiences set within the seclusion and natural beauty of its one-island one-resort sanctuary,” it said.
Guests are invited to celebrate the island’s vibrant spirit with a lively dining experience set in the heart of Moulin’s garden, as Fire & Salt hosts a Garden Arabic Style BBQ on 27 May from 7-10pm (EUR 250 per person). The evening will showcase live cooking stations and flavours from across the region, brought to life in a setting rich with charm and warmth.
Further immersing themselves in the spirit of Eid, guests can also enjoy a series of masterclasses available from 25 to 29 May, Waldorf said.
A private ‘Coffee Journey’ will also be available at EUR 70 from 11.30 am – 5pm at Peacock Terrace. Besides, connoisseurs can also participate in the specially curated ‘Flavors of Arabia with Chef Aya’, priced at EUR 140 in the evening at La Perle.
“Wellness also remains central to the experience at Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, with the Noor Revival Journey, a three-day wellness itinerary curated for Eid Al-Adha,” the hospitality major said.
The programme unfolds across three stages, beginning with cleansing the body and soul with a detoxifying hammam and massage, followed by rebalancing energy with the restorative ancient practice Abhyanga ayurvedic synchronized massage, and culminating in reaching inner peace and radiant serenity with the sound meditation and lunar stone massage.
The ‘Noor Revival Journey’ will be available from 26 to 28 May for EUR 1100++ per person, it said.
